
Ace of Diamond Act II Second Season has been officially announced and is scheduled to premiere in April 2026. The announcement was accompanied by the release of a new visual and promotional video.
Hideaki Oba has been named as the new director at OLM, taking over from Mitsuyuki Masuhara. Kenji Konuta returns to oversee the series scripts after working on the previous entries in the franchise. Yasukazu Shoji is joining the staff as character designer, replacing Minoru Ueda and Satoshi Tasaki, while Hajime Hyakkoku returns to compose the music.
The new season will air on TV Tokyo and its affiliated stations, as well as AT-X. The main cast from earlier seasons is set to reprise their roles.
Yuji Terajima’s Ace of Diamond baseball manga first received a television anime adaptation in 2013, followed by Ace of Diamond Second Season in 2015. Ace of Diamond Act II premiered in 2019 and ran for 52 episodes.
The original manga debuted in Weekly Shonen Magazine in 2006 and concluded in January 2015 with 47 volumes. The sequel series Ace of Diamond Act II ran from 2015 to 2022 and was collected in 34 volumes. The franchise has also been adapted into stage plays and continues to be released in English through Kodansha USA Publishing and K MANGA.

Kadokawa has announced that Haruomi Tomotsuka’s Dara-san of Reiwa manga will receive a television anime adaptation set to premiere in 2026.
- Tadato Suzuki is directing the anime at Asahi Production
- Koichi Kikuta is serving as character designer
- Rei Ishizuka is composing the music
- Lantis is handling music production
Dara-san of Reiwa follows two siblings who wander into a dangerous mountain forest during a violent storm and encounter Dara-san, a self proclaimed god of misfortune with a frightening appearance and an unexpected personality. What begins as a horror like meeting quickly turns into an offbeat and comedic story as the children get to know her.
The manga originally began as illustrations posted on Tomotsuka’s social media account in October 2019 before being released in collected volumes at Comic Market. Kadokawa later launched the series digitally on its ComicWalker website in March 2022. The sixth volume was released on June 23, with the seventh volume scheduled for December 23.
Yen Press is publishing the manga in English and released the first volume on June 24.
