A Pen, Handcuffs, and a Common-Law Marriage Gets TV Anime
King Amusement Creative has officially announced that A Pen, Handcuffs, and a Common-Law Marriage, the manga written by Shinichi Sawaragi and illustrated by Tanku Gasuyama, will be adapted into a television anime.
The series has also been released in English by Yen Press, with its first volume launching on March 24.
Story Overview
The story follows 40-year-old detective Eiji Kirisame, who encounters an unusual witness during a case a quiet high school girl named Tsugumi Kuchinashi. Instead of speaking, she communicates through rough sketches in a notebook. As Eiji works to interpret her drawings and uncover the truth, one page delivers a completely unexpected message asking him to marry her.

Manga Announcement: B?kyakugo no Aletia by sora Begins This May
The latest issue of Hana to Yume magazine, published by Hakusensha, has announced that creator Sora Mizuki, known professionally as sora, will launch a new manga titled Bokyakugo no Aletia on May 20.
