Site Rules

These rules keep Otaku-Streamers a friendly place for everyone. Please read them before posting in the shoutbox, discussions, or reviews.

1. General Conduct

  • Be respectful. No personal attacks, harassment, hate speech, or discrimination of any kind.
  • No spam, advertising, or self-promotion outside designated areas.
  • No NSFW content anywhere on the site.
  • One account per user. Multi-accounting to evade bans or boost activity is grounds for permanent ban.

2. Shoutbox

  • Keep messages 2–300 characters. Don't flood — there's a 20-second cooldown between posts.
  • No begging for episodes, links, or downloads.
  • No drama or call-outs — take it to PMs or the discussions board.
  • Mods may delete messages and issue temporary or permanent shoutbox bans without warning for serious violations.

3. Discussions

  • Search before posting. Duplicate threads will be merged or locked.
  • Use clear, descriptive titles. "Help" or "Question" tells people nothing.
  • Mark spoilers using the spoiler tag. Untagged spoilers are removed without warning.
  • Stay on topic. Off-topic posts may be moved or removed.

4. Reviews & Ratings

  • Reviews must be your own opinion based on watching the show. Plagiarized or AI-generated reviews will be removed.
  • No score-bombing. Rating a title 1 or 10 without context to manipulate averages is not allowed.
  • Constructive criticism is welcome. Personal attacks against creators or other reviewers are not.

5. Uploads & Content

  • Only uploaders and staff can submit episodes. Apply through the staff page if you'd like to contribute.
  • Submissions must follow the encoding and naming standards listed in the uploader handbook.
  • No re-uploads of existing episodes unless they fix a real quality issue (audio sync, broken file, missing subs).

6. Bans & Appeals

  • Bans range from a few hours (shoutbox cooldowns) to permanent (severe or repeated violations).
  • To appeal, email [email protected] with your username and a brief explanation. Don't appeal in the shoutbox or via mod PMs.
  • Ban evasion using a second account voids any chance of appeal.
