Good Smile Company announced on Friday that illustrator neco's Heavily Armed High School Girls project will receive a television anime adaptation, scheduled to air in 2027.

Masaki Tachibana (Princess Principal, Barakamon, Tokyo Magnitude 8.0) is directing the series, while Natsuko Takahashi (My Love Story!!, Love and Lies, Tokyo Magnitude 8.0) is handling the series composition and scripts.

The anime is being jointly produced by Good Smile Film and Good Smile Company.

Heavily Armed High School Girls is a multimedia project that includes illustrations and collectible figures. The newly released promotional visual and announcement video spotlight the character Ichi.

More information about the anime is expected to be revealed at a later date.

Kodansha announced that Seimaru Amagi and Rima Amamiya's Gifted manga is receiving a television anime adaptation, which is scheduled to premiere in 2027.

Originally launched in Nakayoshi magazine in December 2021, the mystery series follows genius detective Natsuki Amakusa, whose exceptional deductive abilities allow him to solve complex cases, and Yūya Shiki, a boy with the unique ability to identify murderers. Together, the pair tackle a variety of challenging mysteries.

Additional details regarding the anime's staff, cast, and release date are expected to be announced in the future.
